These two people came to the closing day of 'Wandering What Is' and stayed to witness and film me washing this healing and balancing pattern off the wall. I hadn't planned it, but it became a ritual. I shed a few tears of farewell to this pattern--the first of its kind I had painted as a temporary installation--as I connected to my team of guides. Then I sang and moved slowly and consciously as I washed the pattern off the wall.
I think the ritual would have emerged even if I wasn't witnessed, but their presence helped me realize that the removal ritual was an important part of this process for the public to be invited to.
